About the Journal

Journal of Social Science and Development is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by ZATARA Academic Journals by PT ZATARA Global Consultancy. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange rigorous, evidence-based work in social change, governance, and development policy in Southeast Asia, with particular attention to challenges and contexts relevant to Indonesia and the wider Global South.

Journal of Social Science and Development is planned to publish 2 issues per year with approximately 10 articles per issue in 2027, scaling to 4 issues per year from 2028.
